Maurie McInnis, B.A., ’90 M.A., ’96 Ph.D. was installed as Yale University’s 24th president on Sunday, April 6, 2025, in Woolsey Hall. Inauguration Weekend included community volunteer opportunities, academic symposia, and open houses to commemorate the university’s latest chapter.

Meet President McInnis

Maurie McInnis assumed the role of president on July 1, 2024. She has spent three decades in higher education, holding a range of teaching, research, and leadership positions at several iconic universities.
